A private company successfully invades the moon

A private American company has succeeded in successfully landing a plane to the South Pole of the Moon.

This is the first time that a private company has landed a spacecraft on the moon, and it is also the first time that America has landed a spacecraft on the moon since 1972, after 52 years.

Houston-based Intuitive Machines, a private company, launched its first lunar mission last week.

Under that, the Odysseus spacecraft sent to the moon on the 15th was launched from Cape Canaveral.

It is with the help of the Falcon Nine rocket belonging to the Space X company.

Intuitive Machines Private Company successfully landed the Odysseus spacecraft on the South Pole of the Moon today (23).

Intuitive Machines aims to research the south pole of the Moon, which is believed to have liquid water, including the behavior of lunar dust particles.

Accordingly, the plane landed in a cratered area known as Malapert, near a hill station 5 km high.

It marked the furthest distance a spacecraft has traveled to the southern tip of the Moon.

It is said that there are very deep craters in that region where no sunlight has ever fallen and scientists believe that there is cold water in them.

Scientists also say that they have the ability to get oxygen for fuel and for astronauts to breathe.

The Eagle Cam, a camera developed by students at the Embry-Riddle Astronautical University in the US, was sent along with the Odysseus spacecraft, which separated from the spacecraft as planned when it was about 30 meters below the surface of the moon.

Embry-Riddle Astronautical University says that its aim was to film the landing of Odysseus on the moon and it was successful.

However, the video taken from it has not been reported yet.
